The Foundational Hand is a script to practice and visit again & again. I like to offer different takes on it occasionally. This time around we will look at the 7 Basic Principles of formal penmanship, adapted from Edward Johnston: form, angle, weight/height, stroke order, – sequence, – direction, and cursivity. We will look at how these principles apply and how we can use them to create variations. In other words; this will be a creative look at the basics! All levels are welcome!
