A unique one evening only demonstration of different scripts written with the ruling pen!

After being introduced into Western (latin) calligraphy during the late 1950s by the German calligrapher Friedrich Poppl, the ruling pen has taken the place as the alternative writing tool – offering a wide range of rough, dynamic strokes and  explosive stroke combinations.

The pen certainly doesn’t ’make letters by itself’, but in the hands of more experienced scribes, it can be used for adventurous and bold calligraphic experiments.

This is a one time opportunity to see expert techniques up close, and get a three month access to the video afterwards.
